This one-day session introduces the Digital Media course and ExplorNet Digital Media program to new teachers.  It is designed to help newly hired teachers through their first semester until the next full training opportunity.  

The session begins at ExplorNet headquarters at 4009 Barrett Dr., Raleigh.  The morning session covers the organization and use of ExplorNet Digital Media materials and resources, introduction to our Moodle system and online Professional Learning Community, and classroom setup.  

Lunch (provided) follows, with an afternoon visit to Middle Creek High School. Participants will see an established program in action and talk with veteran Digital Media teachers about curriculum content, equipment needs, classroom management, instructional strategies, required content, and appropriate projects and activities.  Facilitated by Robin Fred of ExplorNet/QTL with assistance from the Middle Creek High Digital Media team.
